In my last blog, I mentioned some helpful tips to keep in mind to create high quality content that increases your customer base. This week, I will be talking about the importance of seeing how your website and ads are performing over time. It is important to track your websites performance because it can tell you if there are any problems and even offer suggestions as to what actions you should take next to keep your website performing well. Monitoring performance is important because it can lead you to attract more customers and keep people coming to your website. A good tool to use that can help you monitor your websites performance is known as Google's Search Console.


So, what is Google's Search Console?
Google's Search console is a free tool business owners and anyone can use to track how well their ad is performing over time.  Search console is helpful because it can show you things like how many search appearances your ad or website appeared in as well as how many clicks your website has gotten. Knowing this information is important especially when it comes to digital marketing because it can tell marketers how often their ad is getting noticed and what they can do to improve their website to get more views and clicks. Using search console can also tell users what search queries showed show your site, as well as how many mobile users your website generated. What is cool about Search console is that it even can help you troubleshoot any internal website issues like problems with your website links or problems with your pages that prevent users from accessing or viewing certain features, making it a great tool to look into.
